IHG continues to receive external recognition for being a great place to work
This is the fourth time in five years that IHG has been recognised at the Personnel Today Awards.
In 2008 we won the Peer Group Communications Employer Branding Award, in 2010 we won HR Director of the Year and the Award for Innovation in Recruitment and last year we won the prestigious HR Team of the Year Award and the award for Excellence in Global HR.
The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2013
This year The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For lists have been derived from entries of 896 organisations. In total they surveyed over 240,000 employees from the organisations and carried out an evaluation of each company's key statistics, processes and policies.
IHG has jumped 11 places since last year and is now in the top three Best Companies to Work For . To be placed on the list IHG was measured against eight key measures including: my manager, leadership, my company, personal growth, my team, giving something back, fair deal and wellbeing.
Aon Hewitt - Best Employer 2012
The InterContinental Budapest has been successful again by being awarded 3rd place by the Aon Hewitt Best Employer survey for Hungary. The study is the largest held around the world in over 20 countries and measures employee engagement.
Best Employer in the Rhein-Main region 2012
The InterContinental Frankfurt was awarded the Best Employer in the Rhein-main region 2012 based on the survey responses of employees. The survey asked employees to rate the Intercontinental Frankfurt against areas such as teamwork and leadership.
Springboard Awards for Excellence - Best Career Progression Award
The InterContinental London Park Lane won the Best Career Progression Award as part of Springboard Awards for Excellence. The team was recognised for the work they do in bridging the gap between middle management and their Leadership Academy so that career development is available.
TheJobCrowd - Top Companies for graduates to work for
IHG has been ranked 16th in the top 100 companies for graduates to work for in the UK and was ranked second for the Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism sector.
Our high ranking was determined by the positive feedback provided by our existing graduates.
The Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA) Graduate Development Award
The Europe Future Leader programme was the winner of the HBAA Graduate Development award 2012.
The award was given for IHG's ongoing commitment to the training and development of graduates through a robust development programme.
